The Metro is Lesotho’s highest and widest circulating independent newspaper distributed FREE to homes, offices, shopping malls, petrol filling stations, health centres, learning institutions, local courts, on transit and in the streets countrywide, as well as South African towns sharing borders with Lesotho. Launched in November 2017, the Metro is based in Maseru, the Capital and Largest City of Lesotho. It is published by Thabure Media Group (TMG), printing and publishing multimedia company.
The Metro circulation is implemented through diverse distribution channels; the major being home delivery, offices, petrol filling stations, shopping malls and street vendors. The allocation is as follows in percentages:
