SALES CONSULTANT

Responsible to the Sales Director, the Sales Consultant/Agent, whose primary duty is to increase the company’s sales and profitability via direct selling of advertising space, company’s products and services, shall be the foot-soldier who goes door-to-door to promote and sell company products and services.

  • Degree or at least diploma in sales, advertising or marketing related studies.

  • Verbal and written communication with high fluency in spoken and written Sesotho and English.
  • Must be passionate and self-motivated with a constant drive to succeed no matter what.
  • Highly motivated and high level of initiative – inspiring confidence to work independently and in support of advertising and sales goals and business objectives.
  • Strong attention to detail and operational workflow dynamics to effectively track and analyze the status within the job processes,
  • Extra ordinary analytical and reasoning abilities – able to determine all possible sales sources by analyzing the available market data
  • Innovative, goal driven and strong command over theoretical and practical aspects of the sales designs, processing, planning and strategizing.
  • Proven sales experience with at least three (3) year work experience in sales, advertising or marketing related duties and a proof of good track record on meeting set targets.
  • To become proficient in sales, advertising, marketing and promotions
  • To monitor consumer or marketing trends and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • To produce weekly sales reports, provide updates, give progress reports at all times and submit log sheets and dummies within the set deadlines
  • To service existing accounts, obtains orders and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers and other trade factors
  • To identify and build strong database of potential clients prospectus in accordance with relevant products and services
  • To write quality Public Relations, Promotional and/or Advertorial articles and for clients
  • To play an integral role in helping to drive significant and measurable revenue growth while building key relationships with potential clients
  • To create and deliver compelling sales presentations that address the core business issues and opportunities faced by our prospects.
  • To market, promote and sell various products and services of the company, including advertising space
  • To be hands-on on sales responsibilities in and outside the office.
